AIKIDO

Ft. Lauderdale Schools of Aikido was stablished in 2000 by Sensei Mark Williams. Sensei Williams has been a constant advocate of aikido for children and teens, he has worked with organization as the Urban League of Broward County and has worked to provided after school and summer camp programs with in his community.

If you have an interest in the martial arts or specifically Aikido and would like to learn more about what Ft. Lauderdale Schools of Aikido International has to offer you, we invite you to come down to the dojo and watch or participate in a class. We have a special invitation for boys and girls and women of all ages.

As a beginner you will be introduced to many new concepts during your first month of classes. There will be an experienced student to help you with the basics during each class. As a beginner there will be a lot of emphasizes placed on the exercises, basic movements including footwork, ukemi (falling skills), and basic aikido techniques. The training is presented at a pace which allows each student to develop and refine his or her understanding of movement and techniques.
